"Conservatively Radical Concepts for Progressive Social Change."
A personal perspective; "the best way to stop the flow of money from the sales of narcotics being used against our liberty, health and financial stability, is to end the way we treat our fellow Americans who are addicts and users. Stopping the ineffective use of much needed taxpayer dollars, could help rebuild and restore our divided social integration and aging infrastructure. First, I propose complete legalization of the social use of marijuana for recreation. Second, is decriminalization, with local and state control of opiates, cocaine and similar substances, such as crack cocaine. With each community deciding how much the federal government should be involved in the project. These first two ideas attempt to treat those who use drugs and those who are addicted to drugs as equal citizens under the Constitution of the United States of America, with as much rights and respectful dignity as any other U.S. citizen. The huge amount of money saved from demilitarizing the drug problem, could be used for greater efforts to curb the individual of his or her desire to use, but keeping in mind the nature of freedom and liberty by not forcing people into programs which only lead to abstinence Successful research into methods for safer and healthier lifestyles of addicts and users could lead to a safer and healthier society. Our streets would be much safer without unregulated open drug dealing. However, alternative programs such as, allowing assigned designated "sales areas" with strict law enforcement oversight and cooperative community effort is needed to assure everyone's safety. I'm sure this must sound like an absurd idea to those of you without sympathy, empathy, compassion and true understanding of mankind's long history of using chemical substances and other methods of recreational enjoyment. The means of achieving euphoric and other states of being have been a part of the social fabric from the beginning of recorded history. Why then, this new social and politically correct push to eradicate this behavior?Have we become so intolerant and self-righteous that we find it easier to place blame for the failures of this democratic social experiment on a segment of the population who is being systematically outcast and segregated from the mainstream populace by the judicial system which has run amuck? Drugs are not the answer to life's problems, nor indeed, is it the problem itself. Just one of many complex issues we must resolve, if we expect to grow into a multi-diverse culture of people from all nations, living in harmony and working together toward an agreed common goal of peace. As I see it, drugs are not all that is destroying families. With the proper guidance and lawful respect, many families could be assured of a prosperous and healthy life, even if a member is a drug user. There are plenty of cases inwhich children are taken from the home, due to a family member's use of drugs, no matter how well they are treated and cared for. The judicial complex which answers to no one, not even the president needs to be examined and given some kind of oversight by the citizens of this country. No one is immune to the Supreme Court, which is not an elected body of government. Hard working families and single parents are being stripped of their parental rights for drug sales, possession and use. The D.C.Y.F. has become the Nazis of the family structure. Often overlooking severe child abuse because they are so overzealous with prosecuting parents using and addicted to drugs, no matter how well adjusted the family life.

The De-regulation disater . The aftermath of de-regulation
One of the biggest problems which the United States is facing economically has been DEREGULATION. **---- In my View ---- ------**When the basic fabric entwined in the regulation of the financial structure, including all aspects of private and government businesses BECAME UN-REGULATED BY DEREGULATION ====== The GLUE which held the whole economic system together has lost the Stickiness that bound together the program structure from slipping through the governing regulations that maintained each and every individual piece of the "Collective MASS Populace" moving toward a Co-Created future of positive actions which harm no one and create a world of equality and respect,,, which in turn - Creates an Opportunity of Love and Trust among ALL races, species, cultures, religions and origins.
SIMPLY PUT,,, DEREGULATION HAS PULLED OUT ALL THE SAFETY STOPS.

Disparity of income of law enforcement and others in our society.
I have written on this subject before. I think our society has their priorities all back asswards. People would rather pay outrageous prices to attend sporting events, or pay per view,,,, rather than pay their local law enforcement better pay, or the military personnel better pay. NO WONDER WHY WE HAVE SO MANY COPS ON THE TAKE, and our service man and women committing suicide in large numbers. The most important people in our society; those who protect us and keep us safe in our neighborhoods and at the lower end of the Pay scale of importance.
IF WE ARE GOING TO TURN OUR COUNTRY "AND" OUR ECONOMY AROUND---- WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT OUR PRIORITIES.

If I was on my way to a cabinet meeting with Pres. Barack H. Obama
On the Way to a Cabinet Meeting I might say something like this to him;
Barack, you might turn out to be the BEST President ever, in the history of our Country. P.S. we need Universal Health care INSURANCE. No need for free health care. WE NEED -- FREE or SUBSIDIZED INSURANCE.
Also, we might be better off deregulating deregulation!!!!!
REPAIR THE FABRIC IN OUR BASIC BUILDING BLOCK OF OUR ENTIRE SOCIAL STRUCTURE. Stop the DEREGULATION of ALL that which has kept our social-economic environment together for so long. Since we began deregulating the private and commercial businesses along with less oversight within the workings of Congress,,,, WE HAVE SLIPPED INTO AN INCREASING SLIPPERY SLOPE which could lead to the collapsing of our society, fragmenting our collective as one populace, into a realm outside the consciousness of the World's body of Humanity.

Genocide of a Sub-Culture
Genocide of a Sub-Culture
Written off the cuff by, Herb Anthony
I do NOT advocate drug use or any form of substance abuse. HOWEVER, we should have the Sovereign right to decide how to approach our addictive nature and the coarse of action we feel is best for us. Be it abstinence, or "the feeding of our animal-brain" enough to satisfy our addictions, should be our choice and ours alone. Unless that use interrupts the daily routine of others, due to events caused by our behavioral patterns. A respectful, thoughtful and Humane approach to addiction needs to be fair and balanced, with emphasis on the health and medical issues and NOT this "counter-productive" manner which side steps our rights as citizens to choose the way we manifest our destiny. Losing ones liberty does not curb the addiction or improve family problems in most cases. When someone is incarcerated for the sale or use of an illegal substance (not to include other illegal actions of theft, violence or other) this destroys the basic fabric of the family unit, without resolving the individual's physiological and psycho-emotional desires for the drug. There is NO law that can take away an addiction. We need more reasearch and better programs and methods of helping to either rid a person's desire for their unhealthy actions or help them create a safe and honorable means to sustain and maintain their habit within a lifestyle that is meaningful, respectable, productive and safe. With or without their drug of choice.

This "so-called" war on drugs isn't really aimed at ending drug use in the United States and the World. It is more like "Genocide of a Sub-Culture" of those people who use and sell drugs and their families and friends who accept them. Also, there is a huge economic windfall that would be crushed if the legal sale of items used for storage of these substances, paraphernalia , and markets that sell legal items ranging from lighters, to rolling papers, cigars to baking soda, smoking utensils (pipes), and a variety of items which are used in the manufacture, distribution and promotion of the legal uses of both legal and illegal substances that do everything from altering moods to altering perceptions.
Problems that erupt from from drug use, also have a wide range of causes which may have little to do with the actual effects of the drugs. The most widely devastating results of drug use are sustained when a user or seller is arrested, convicted and subsequently incarcerated as this causes more families to be destroyed by this action than the number of families affected by the unfortunate dysfunctional aspects of many users. However, this dysfunction would be better addressed by a HEALTHIER APPROACH of respectfully treating the entire spectrum of drug use/abuse with a serious unbiased objectiveness. Criminalizing people for making unhealthy decisions has to the worst abuse of a legislative body. There are far too many unhealthy actions
We live in a society which prides itself on freedoms. When personal freedom of choice, and sovereign decisions are side-stepped into being outside the social acceptance of the "norm," we place many groups and individuals at risk of the most sacred right of ALL, "Liberty." To lose ones complete freedom by incarceration and/or forced compliance to arcane laws are opposite of the rights given to us by the Constitution of the United States and is UNCONSCIONABLE.
The founding fathers of our country gave much thought and debate as to what should be included in forming the framework by which a collective body of a new nation would be able to unite all cultures and it's citizens lifestyles and backgrounds and to express the diversity of the nation as a whole.
"Genocide of a Sub-Culture," is the term I coined to reflect the way our culture has been divided and sub-divided and the background of ancestral diversity which lends credence to the creation of offshoots of the main branches of the "TREE OF LIFE," is systematically and meticulously being snuffed out by using such tactics like the "drug war," and the extraction social nonconformity by making their ideals and their lifestyles against the "law of the land." This is resulting in "Genocide of Sub-cultures" within the borders of our nation.
Taking into account these historic words; "Give me Liberty or Give me Death"
and these most important words.....
"WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
Our only true hope of survival and prosperity for everyone is to return to the ABSOLUTENESS of the Preamble, and hold a "CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION" to reflect today's social structure, using the basic outline of the original constitution.
"We the people of the United States of America," the primary context and the meaning of these words are inclusive of every individual member of our society, through years of constitutional amendments and Supreme Court "interpretations" of these amendments, plus legislative changes have SLICED the pie of our social entirety. Dividing the collective wholeness of the population of the United States of America. Thus, making it easier for hungry greed mongers to snatch up profits from mass fortune, funnel it to their individual and selective groups and become more powerful than our elected officials. They have been able to remain hidden behind the veil of secrecy and anonymity by quasi organizations and corporations, protected by "the Supreme Court," who have ultimate final say in determining which laws are constitutional and relevant to maintain the stronghold these powerful people have on influencing the decision making body (Congress). Congress makes ALL laws pertaining to the lives of each and every Citizen of the United States. However, these Supreme Court Justices are NOT part of the electorate. They are appointed by the presidential administrations which are in power at the time a new appointee is needed. These Justices are appointed for LIFE terms. Thereby creating the Highest unofficial office of our nation into a quasi government, overseeing the elected Gov. and shaping the social norms to conform to the narrow viewpoints of those within the "office" called the "Supreme Court."
This has caused us to become enslaved to the whims of the ones who influence the most powerful people in our nation. Anyone who disagrees with a Supreme Court decision has little or no recourse because they have final say to the point where they determine if we can even get an appeal to their decision. "FOX GUARDING THE HEN HOUSE."
Please STOP THE GENOCIDE OF A SUB-CULTURE within the fabric of our society, before it turns into a SILENT HOLOCAUST.

~~~~To Spark A Resolution~~~~
One great idea can "snowball" into a movement which can become unstoppable in the Grander Scheme of things.
Here is another piece I wrote because I do not like the word revolution in the context of politics or other world events.
To Spark A Resolution
Today is one of those “daze” when my depression balances on the verge of “letting me leave this world behind,” and/or “staying to fulfill the reason I believe is my reason to be.”
This “reason to be,” is, ‘as was,” a man of historical consequence.
Nameless, I will probably be, but my goals and purpose, “I aim true.”
The “Id within,” is the “I within me,” the “self” which sincerely and honestly believes there is a workable solution, by which ALL peoples from ALL places and nations thereof, can begin a new peaceful co-existence.
One of the first efforts needed is to end this “farse” called the “Drug War.” The war, (as I see it) does not exist as it is presented. The true nature of the “War on Drugs,” is vying for the huge profit the illegal drug markets bring. The “turf war” for control of these markets is being conducted by nations, cartels, corporations and other such entities in this ALL OUT military approach, unfortunately, at the pain, suffering and economic expense of those who can least afford it.
If we expect to create a new “future time-line” of harmony and peace, it would be wise to combine collective ideas of reasonable content and open a “dialog of truth” with ALL nations, ALL peoples of ALL cultural backgrounds, so we can stop the power-hungry, greed infested generation, from its continued stronghold on the World’s economy and the terrible, horrific results upon the masses. This “controlling elitist group” is herding the masses of the populace like sheep to be sheered. Keeping their flocks only as healthy as they need to serve and remain profitable, regardless of emotional turmoil upon each individual’s spirit, mind, heart and soul.
Like pawns, drones, widgets and other such adjectives used for the people Jesus Christ came to enlighten, ALL are unknowingly and unwittingly taking part in a struggle of Universal proportions.
God only knows, and only God knows.
I don’t advocate a belief in God or against God. To think there is NOT a God is as irrelevant as to believe there IS a God, because “if” we have no God then the job of creating our future is “OURS” AND OURS ALONE. “If” God DOES exist, he has given us the tools, “our intellect and dexterity,” so once again the job becomes, “OURS AND OURS ALONE!”

Like pawns, drones, widgets and other such adjectives used for the people Jesus Christ came to enlighten, ALL are unknowingly and unwittingly taking part in a struggle of Universal proportions.
God only knows, and only God knows.
I don’t advocate a belief in God or against God. To think there is NOT a God is as irrelevant as to believe there IS a God, because “if” we have no God then the job of creating our future is “OURS” AND OURS ALONE. “If” God DOES exist, he has given us the tools, “our intellect and dexterity,” so once again the job becomes, “OURS AND OURS ALONE!”

Genocide of a Sub-Culture
Written off the cuff by, Herb Anthony
I do NOT advocate drug use or any form of substance abuse. HOWEVER, we should have the Sovereign right to decide how to approach our addictive nature and the coarse of action we feel is best for us. Be it abstinence, or "the feeding of our animal-brain" enough to satisfy our addictions, should be our choice and ours alone. Unless that use interrupts the daily routine of others, due to events caused by our behavioral patterns. A respectful, thoughtful and Humane approach to addiction needs to be fair and balanced, with emphasis on the health and medical issues and NOT this "counter-productive" manner which side steps our rights as citizens to choose the way we manifest our destiny. Losing ones liberty does not curb the addiction or improve family problems in most cases. When someone is incarcerated for the sale or use of an illegal substance (not to include other illegal actions of theft, violence or other) this destroys the basic fabric of the family unit, without resolving the individual's physiological and psycho-emotional desires for the drug. There is NO law that can take away an addiction. We need more reasearch and better programs and methods of helping to either rid a person's desire for their unhealthy actions or help them create a safe and honorable means to sustain and maintain their habit within a lifestyle that is meaningful, respectable, productive and safe. With or without their drug of choice.

This "so-called" war on drugs isn't really aimed at ending drug use in the United States and the World. It is more like "Genocide of a Sub-Culture" of those people who use and sell drugs and their families and friends who accept them. Also, there is a huge economic windfall that would be crushed if the legal sale of items used for storage of these substances, paraphernalia , and markets that sell legal items ranging from lighters, to rolling papers, cigars to baking soda, smoking utensils (pipes), and a variety of items which are used in the manufacture, distribution and promotion of the legal uses of both legal and illegal substances that do everything from altering moods to altering perceptions.
Problems that erupt from from drug use, also have a wide range of causes which may have little to do with the actual effects of the drugs. The most widely devastating results of drug use are sustained when a user or seller is arrested, convicted and subsequently incarcerated as this causes more families to be destroyed by this action than the number of families affected by the unfortunate dysfunctional aspects of many users. However, this dysfunction would be better addressed by a HEALTHIER APPROACH of respectfully treating the entire spectrum of drug use/abuse with a serious unbiased objectiveness. Criminalizing people for making unhealthy decisions has to the worst abuse of a legislative body. There are far too many unhealthy actions
We live in a society which prides itself on freedoms. When personal freedom of choice, and sovereign decisions are side-stepped into being outside the social acceptance of the "norm," we place many groups and individuals at risk of the most sacred right of ALL, "Liberty." To lose ones complete freedom by incarceration and/or forced compliance to arcane laws are opposite of the rights given to us by the Constitution of the United States and is UNCONSCIONABLE.
The founding fathers of our country gave much thought and debate as to what should be included in forming the framework by which a collective body of a new nation would be able to unite all cultures and it's citizens lifestyles and backgrounds and to express the diversity of the nation as a whole.
"Genocide of a Sub-Culture," is the term I coined to reflect the way our culture has been divided and sub-divided and the background of ancestral diversity which lends credence to the creation of offshoots of the main branches of the "TREE OF LIFE," is systematically and meticulously being snuffed out by using such tactics like the "drug war," and the extraction social nonconformity by making their ideals and their lifestyles against the "law of the land." This is resulting in "Genocide of Sub-cultures" within the borders of our nation.
Taking into account these historic words; "Give me Liberty or Give me Death"
and these most important words.....
"WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
Our only true hope of survival and prosperity for everyone is to return to the ABSOLUTENESS of the Preamble, and hold a "CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION" to reflect today's social structure, using the basic outline of the original constitution.
"We the people of the United States of America," the primary context and the meaning of these words are inclusive of every individual member of our society, through years of constitutional amendments and Supreme Court "interpretations" of these amendments, plus legislative changes have SLICED the pie of our social entirety. Dividing the collective wholeness of the population of the United States of America. Thus, making it easier for hungry greed mongers to snatch up profits from mass fortune, funnel it to their individual and selective groups and become more powerful than our elected officials. They have been able to remain hidden behind the veil of secrecy and anonymity by quasi organizations and corporations, protected by "the Supreme Court," who have ultimate final say in determining which laws are constitutional and relevant to maintain the stronghold these powerful people have on influencing the decision making body (Congress). Congress makes ALL laws pertaining to the lives of each and every Citizen of the United States. However, these Supreme Court Justices are NOT part of the electorate. They are appointed by the presidential administrations which are in power at the time a new appointee is needed. These Justices are appointed for LIFE terms. Thereby creating the Highest unofficial office of our nation into a quasi government, overseeing the elected Gov. and shaping the social norms to conform to the narrow viewpoints of those within the "office" called the "Supreme Court."
This has caused us to become enslaved to the whims of the ones who influence the most powerful people in our nation. Anyone who disagrees with a Supreme Court decision has little or no recourse because they have final say to the point where they determine if we can even get an appeal to their decision. "FOX GUARDING THE HEN HOUSE."
Please STOP THE GENOCIDE OF A SUB-CULTURE within the fabric of our society, before it turns into a SILENT HOLOCAUST.
